We walk small groups of dogs to ensure each dog receives plenty of attention. We understand that different dogs have different temperaments so will also work with you to make sure your dog is with an appropriate mix of doggy friends.
Yes! We are a member of both of these professional dog/pet organisations. The APDW code of practice ensures all members provide an excellent level of service and can deal with any issues that may crop up during their walking and sitting.
If we see a problem, we will talk to you about this. Together we can try and resolve any issues your dog may have.
We will come and meet you and your dog at our Meet & Greet so we assess his or her needs. We always do our best to accommodate our customers but we cannot accept dogs that are aggressive or overly disruptive.
We will talk to you about your methods so we can continue to handle your dog in a similar fashion.
We offer a one-hour group dog walking service for clients in and around Exeter.

Your dog will be returned home, refreshed and towel dried, after approximately 2 hours.
During a 60-minute walk, we usually walk around two miles. Dependant on the weather, this is usually through beautiful open countryside that our dogs absolutely love.
We do! As always, if there are any issues with your dog, we will let you know and, together, we can come up with a plan. When we return, we will towel dry your dog at your home to make sure he or she is comfortable.
You do not need to be home for collection or the return of your dog. In fact, most dog owners are out. Your keys will be securely stored and we all have DBS (criminal record) checks.
Our dog walks are generally structured around clients with regular dog walking needs. However, we will do our best to help you. WhatsApp BarknBond ASAP so we can chat about what is possible.
BarknBond puts a tracker on each dog's collar when he or she is off the lead so we can always find them. Every effort will be made to safeguard your dog. If your dog is injured, we will carry out the appropriate canine first aid and contact you immediately.
All dogs are transported in vehicles that have been specially adapted to ensure a safe and comfortable journey. Our drivers are also fully trained and insured.
Most importantly we will get to meet you and your dog and you can meet your dog walker. Our aim is to gain a full understanding of your pet's needs at this meeting. We will explain our service in detail and take useful information from you such as vet contact, microchip number, emergency contact details, spare keys. We will provide you with a contract to read and sign. This will be a friendly and no-pressure meeting with no obligation to sign up.
Please give us as much notice as possible. We will need time to visit you and your pet to make sure we are all happy with the plan.
Yes. We have a service agreement which explains our policies and procedures.
Our cancellation policy states that we require at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel your walk. If you fail to give BarknBond 24 hours' notice, you will be required to pay for the missed dog walk in full.
Each dog owner has different needs. During our Meet & Greet, BarknBond will talk to you about how many walks you require. Typically, clients commit to a set number of dog walks per week, signing a contract for two rolling months, and paying for this service upon booking.
BarknBond ask that you give one month's notice if you decide you no longer require our services.
